A-Rod’s Contemporary L.A. Home Hits the Market for $6.5 Million

The former Yankees player bought the architecturally significant property from Meryl Streep

Alex Rodriguez, the former Yankees slugger, has listed his architecturally significant house on the Sunset Strip for $6.5 million.

The clean-lined, contemporary home has four bedrooms and four baths. Rodriguez bought the dwelling four years ago from acting legend Meryl Streep. The athlete turned sports broadcaster is reportedly living with his girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, at her Bel-Air compound.

The 3,7000-square-foot residence was originally designed by Honnold & Rex in 1954 as part of Architectural Products magazine’s “Research Houses” program and was later updated by Xorin Balbes, a Los Angeles designer.

The house is listed with the Westside Estate Agency.
