The Luminous Jewels of Martin Katz Evoke Old Hollywood Glamour
The acclaimed designer creates contemporary jewels with an “old soul”
I have always been inspired by vintage jewelry and Hollywood glamour. As a child, I was mesmerized by pictures of celebrities wearing jewelry. My career as a jewelry designer grew out of being unable to find vintage pieces in a style that I liked. I started creating them myself, hand-crafting couture pieces inspired by my love of contemporary jewels with an ‘old soul.’
My creative process begins with a rare stone and an idea. Jewelry creations are one of a kind or limited production, beautiful, and enduring—living up to my motto, ‘Jewels. Like No Other.’
