Bruce Willis Lists 22-Acre Westchester Estate for $12.9 Million
The Glass actor has lived in the house with his wife and children since 2014
Bruce Willis has listed his 22-acre country estate in Westchester, New York, for $12.9 million.
“The only reasons we are giving it up is because we are so far from our California family, which is why we have decided to return to the West Coast and make our home there,” Willis said in a statement to the Wall Street Journal. “Our youngest daughter, Mabel, said last week that she wishes we could put lots of balloons on our house, like they did in the movie Up, and send it to the West Coast. I agree that would be perfect.”

The actor bought the house, which is about an hour drive from Manhattan, in 2014 for $12 million. He and his wife, Emma, and their children have been splitting their time between the house in the countryside and their apartment in New York.
The Craftsman-style main house is 9,000 square feet and has panoramic views of the surrounding land. The five-bedroom dwelling sits on a gated property and has a playroom, a media room, a wine cellar, a saltwater pool, a tennis court, and an enclosed vegetable garden that has been tended to by the family. “I’ll never forget the girls proudly bringing in their first harvest of organic vegetables from our beautiful enclosed garden,” Willis said.
In addition to the main house, a trio of guest cottages with a combined seven bedrooms are also included in the sale.
The property is listed with Nancy Strong, Stacey Oestreich, and Ann Cutbill Lenane of Douglas Elliman.
