While the next official Haute Jewels Geneva week is not until April 2027, there will be plenty of pieces worth keeping an eye on at November’s high jewelry sales in Geneva, which are part of the city’s Autumn Luxury Week. There, the world’s top auction houses will offer a dazzling selection notable for provenance as well as quality. Here are some favorites:

1. Queen Mary’s Hennell Pearl and Diamond Necklace | Phillips

Originally created for Mary of Teck, the wife of George V, this majestic piece is a 1928 adaptation of the Golden Jubilee Necklace made for Queen Victoria’s 50th anniversary on the throne. Queen Mary is considered one of the greatest jewelry collectors in British royal history, and often wore pearls and chokers that showed off her long neck. This platinum one-of-one features large cultured pearls and diamonds.

2. The Bulgari Pink | Christie’s

A diamond with a name demands attention, especially a rare fancy color one. The one in question is a 24 carat fancy intense pink emerald-cut, set in a Bulgari ring from a European noble family, which is appearing at auction for the first time after more than 70 years in private hands. The Bulgari Pink will be part of the Magnificent Jewels auction on November 10.

3. Cartier Black Opal and Diamond Tiara/Necklace | Sotheby’s

When the occasion does not call for a tiara—and even the most glamorous of lives delivers relatively few excuses to wear a tiara—take note that this versatile Art Deco confection by Cartier can be converted into an equally astonishing necklace and brooches. It was worn by Mary Cavendish, Duchess of Devonshire, at two royal coronations: that of George VI in 1937, and later to that of his daughter, Elizabeth II, in 1953. It features over 50 carats of black opals and old mine-cut diamonds.

4. Van Cleef & Arpels Oiseau Mystérieux Ruby and Diamond Brooch | Christie’s

The Van Cleef and Arpels Mystery set is celebrated for a reason. Here, it is seen in the rubies on this beautiful bird brooch. The lower tail is detachable and can be switched to more elaborate plumage for very special occasions.

5. Mellerio Orléans Diamond Tiara | Sotheby’s

Created circa 1862 by one of France’s most venerable jewelers, this 110–125-carat old mine and rose-cut diamond tiara belonged to the Orléanist branch of the deposed Bourbon French royal family. It can also be converted for wear as a necklace. The Greek key design reflects the popularity of Classical motifs in 1860s France.

6. Empress Eugénie’s Emerald and Diamond Bracelet | Phillips

Jewelry belonging to Empress Eugénie was stolen in the notorious 2025 Louvre heist, so it is lovely to know that there is still some around. This openwork gold bracelet showcases five impressive emeralds, with the largest weighing in at 5.46 carats.
