Alexis Mabille Toasts Galerie Editor in Chief Jacqueline Terrebonne in Paris
The Beau Bow creative director welcomed design and fashion insiders at his home for an elegant evening to close out Paris Déco Off
On Saturday evening, the fashion and design worlds came together at the Paris home of designer Alexis Mabille for an elegant evening honoring Galerie Editor in Chief Jacqueline Terrebonne. Guests, including Jean-Michel Othoniel, Hugo Toro, Elie Top, Aline Hazarian, and Pierre Marie, conversed about highlights from an inspiring week of innovative design and what’s still to come as they took in the Beau Bow creative director’s magnificent home, accented by highly curated pieces of art and illuminated by an abundance of mirrors and flickering candlelight.
“I could not imagine a more quintessentially chic Parisian evening than the cocktail party at Alexis’s home,” says Terrebonne. “Everyone was raving about Alexis’s miraculous transformation of this apartment, and it could not have looked more beautiful with the flattering candlelight, crackling fire, and mirrors galore. No one wanted to leave, especially with the flowing Ruinart Champagne and never-ending silver trays of Caviar Kaspia blinis.”
The home, featured recently in Galerie’s Winter Issue, is in the second arrondissement known as the Sentier, and features a chic mix of Mabille’s own designs and antique finds. Guests took in his spectacular finds and personal touches while savoring Caviar Kaspia blinis and toasting with Champagne provided by Ruinart.
