A bridge between the slick industrial pop of the West Coast’s Finish Fetish movement, prevalent in the 1960s, and the more cerebral minimalism of New York of the 1970s, Don Dudley crafted elegant wall works with a strong emphasis on color, geometry, and surface, such as Untitled (Modular Study) (1974), made using airbrush and ink on paper.

Evoking the look of a makeup palette, the whimsical Première Cuff Blush watch by Chanel is distinguished by a black-coated steel-chain bracelet interlaced with leather straps in powdery, gradient shades of pink and red.
