Ralph Lauren Brings Polo Bear to Life with Interactive Holiday Window Displays
Using ground-breaking AI technology, the brand’s beloved icon is spreading cheer this holiday season
Ralph Lauren is spreading holiday cheer with the help of its beloved Polo Bear, who stars in the brand’s charming interactive window installations at flagship locations in New York, Tokyo, and Chicago. Polo Bear—brought to life as a 3-D rendering embedded within a physical vignette—delights with playful interactions including waving, selfies, blown kisses, and signature dance moves.
The New York flagship windows feature the Polo Bear dressed in a festive tuxedo and set inside an Art Deco-inspired Manhattan Penthouse overlooking Central Park. A Duke Bar Cart houses Langley crystal martini glasses and barware from the brand’s Home collection. In London, Tokyo, and Chicago, the Polo Bear is set inside the Polo Bear Gift Concierge, a backdrop of old world charm and contemporary elegance with wood paneled walls, mahogany shelving and polished brass finishing. Here, Polo Bear is a tailer putting the finishing touches on ties to gifts while sipping from his cup of Ralph’s Coffee.
Created in collaboration with CINIMOD, Ralph Lauren also turned to AI for the innovative experience that came to together after six months of development. “Creating a dynamic interplay where the digital and physical appear as one, the installations invite each passerby to experience the brand’s timeless artistry and craftsmanship,” the brand said in a statement. “Elevating the art of window dressing, the brand brings the magical world of Ralph Lauren to life to engage consumers in new and exciting ways.”
