Galerie Celebrates the 2024 Creative Minds at Holly Hunt New York
The sixth annual list honors 24 visionary talents from the worlds of art, interior design, architecture, fashion, jewelry, photography, cuisine, and more
Holly Hunt’s triple-story showroom at Manhattan’s A&D Building was buzzing with hundreds of revelers on the evening of May 9 in honor of Galerie Magazine’s 2024 Creative Minds. Every year, the signature list spotlights a new hand-picked group of talents across the fields of art, design, fashion, jewelry, architecture, and more. During the night’s remarks, founder and editorial director Lisa Fayne Cohen and editor in chief Jacqueline Terrebonne toasted this year’s honorees, many of whom were in attendance, including Nicole Hollis, Miles Greenberg, Adam Neeley, Lee F. Mindel, Tiff Massey, Jeremy Anderson, Olivier Reza, the trio from Orior, plus Holly Hunt’s very own Jo Annah Kornak.
“I hope that each one of these 24 individuals sparks your imaginations and brings fresh ideas to your own creative process,” said Cohen, as guests sipped Ruinart Champagne, the world’s oldest established Champagne house, as well as chardonnay and rosé from Dry Farm Wines. The party was catered by 2022 Creative Minds honoree James Kent, who conceived a menu featuring hamachi with avocado, horseradish, and puri; caviar blini with smoked salmon; zucchini squash with pureed zucchini, and preserved lemon; brie, apricot, and caramelized onion vol-au-vent; ground short rib bistro burger; and lemon tarts with blueberry.
An array of fragrant blooms by New York designer Sandra de Ovando filled the space, with the striking arrangements adhering to a yellow and purple color story. The crowd was also buzzing about the extraordinary one-of -kind sculptures created as awards by ceramist Peter Lane, a 2022 Creative Mind. As the night ended, the honorees posed with their treasured trophies before parading out of the space with this beautiful way to remember both the honor and this very special evening.
