This fall, Dior launched the Toile de Jouy collection, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. Available in Tilleul green or burgundy, the array incorporates dinner and dessert plates, mugs, and serveware with the maison’s iconic motif.

When this collection debuted, it did so in a festive exhibition at Svenskt Tenn’s Sweden showroom that brought the beauty and exuberance of an Italian picnic to life. The “Greeting from Margherita” installation featured specially created pieces like the Margherita plate and side dish, which are handcrafted by Ceramica Pinto in Vietri Sul Mare, Italy.

Marni’s new Midnight Flowers collection of handpainted porcelain tableware draws palette and pattern inspiration from the fashion brand’s array of clothing. Conceived by Creative Director Francesco Risso, the 120-piece line includes plates, dishes, bowls, teapots, cups, and saucers with slightly asymmetrical shapes to further enhance their playful quality.

5. Loro Piana
L’Art De La Table, the new collection of tableware from Loro Piana, transforms the Suitcase stripe, a multi-band motif found on travel cases in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90, into an elegant border on bone porcelain plates, bowls, and mugs. A selection of hand-blown and hand-engraved Murano glass, as well as cotton and linen placemats and napkins complete the look.
