Trevor Noah Lists Stunning Manhattan Penthouse for Nearly $13 Million
Perched atop Stella Tower in Hell’s Kitchen, the duplex apartment features three bedrooms, a rooftop terrace, and panoramic city views
Comedian, political commentator, and soon-to-be former host of The Daily Show, Trevor Noah, has listed his impressive New York City penthouse for $12.95 million. Located in the Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, the three-bedroom duplex apartment sits atop Stella Tower, an Art Deco gem that was designed in 1927 by famed architect Ralph Walker. Nick Gavin of Compass has the listing.
Noah, who landed Jon Stewart’s coveted gig in 2015, originally acquired the condo in 2017 and immediately spearheaded a major renovation in which the layout was completely reconfigured. Unlike a typical home, the main living and entertaining areas can now be found on the top floor, which is accessed via a contemporary floating staircase. Additionally, a dining area that can host up a dozen guests can be found on the upper level. For an intimate cocktail party, or post-dinner nightcap, a 1,000-square-foot landscaped terrace provides 360-degree views of Manhattan.
On the lower floor, the primary bedroom holds an en-suite bathroom and dual dressing rooms. A variety of different materials and textures can be found encompassing the space, which includes a wall made of hand-rubbed cortina framing the bed. The adjacent bathroom was crafted with limestone flooring and is equipped with a personal steam shower and expansive dual-sink vanity.
The other guest bedrooms can also be found on the bottom floor of the penthouse, where one bedroom was converted into a home theatre by Noah. Other additions include a fully-equipped wet-bar, kitchen, and pantry which are located next to the top-floor dining area.
