Envisioned by interior designer Natalia Miyar and printed and hand-foiled by Fromental’s artists in the U.K., the initial expression for the Ambia wall covering collection was drawn from surrealism and cubism master Wifredo Lam’s strikingly colored painting, La Jungla.

This design reimagines Fromental’s core chinoiserie style, embellishing the cherry blossom grove with Goop’s own mythical symbols of transformation. From birds and woodland creatures to medicinal herbs like cannabis and mushrooms, there is a huge amount of allegory within the objects in the design.

Roxy Mountains combines both the conventions of the hanging scroll and the handscroll, which can be understood in two very distinct ways: one conveys a grander vista, while the other, sequential and panoramic, invites a more intimate viewing.
