The gallery’s 24th Street location is hosting the inaugural show of up-and-coming talent Arcmanoro Niles, whose dazzling paintings depicting quotidian life are on view through August 27

For 25 years, Lehmann Maupin has been championing the careers of some of the contemporary art world’s most celebrated talents, including Catherine Opie, Marilyn Minter, Mickalene Thomas, Do Ho Suh, and Juergen Teller. Founded by Rachel Lehmann and David Maupin, the gallery has two spaces in New York and permanent locations in Hong Kong, Seoul, and London, as well as seasonal outposts in Aspen, Taipei City, and Palm Beach. At the gallery’s 24th Street location, designed by Peter Marino, see the inaugural show of up-and-coming talent Arcmanoro Niles, whose dazzling paintings depicting quotidian life are on view through August 27.

This September, don’t miss the first solo show of Los Angeles painter Calida Rawles, who is also debuting a new installation on the Hollywood Park campus in Inglewood, California. Always head of the curve, the gallery just revealed an exclusive partnership with Gemini, becoming the first commercial gallery to accept cryptocurrency through the platform.
